the studio

Hannah Lamb's studio is on the top floor of a listed building in the World Heritage site of Saltaire Village. The studio space is a lovely light room on the 2nd floor, above 'Too Nice To Use' (gift shop), Bingley Road, Saltaire. We have wonderful views over the rooftops of Saltaire, but access to the studio is via two steep flights of stairs. Entry to the studio is via the shop. If you arrive a few minutes early please knock loudly or phone me to be let in if the shop is closed.

Lunch is not provided but tea, coffee and cake/biscuits will be available throughout the day. Please let Hannah know if you have a severe allergy. There are a number of excellent cafés and deli’s in Saltaire or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio.

Please note Hannah's studio is only open to the public for special events, workshops or by prior arrangement.

getting here

Too Nice To Use is a small independent gift shop midway along Gordon Terrace, which is part of Bingley Road (A650), Saltaire. This road runs along the top of the historic village. Saltaire is well sign-posted from all directions; follow either A650 or A657 into the village.

Parking in Saltaire is limited. There is a small car-park at Oastler Road, off Bingley Road, behind the Co-op, where you can park for up to 4 hours. Alternatively you could park at Salts Mill and walk up the hill (about 10 -15 mins).

Public transport to Saltaire is excellent with regular trains from Leeds, Skipton & Bradford. The station is about 10 -15 minutes walk from The Butterfly Rooms.

Several buses run through Saltaire, very near to the studio including the 662 and 60.
