Course - Heirloom Stitched Stories
£95.00
Sold Out
This course runs over three morning sessions on Fridays 4th, 11th and 18th October, 10am -1pm at Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire.
During this stitch-focused short course, I will be guiding you through a series of creative activities to study an item of textile or clothing that means something special to you. We will be exploring stitch, appliqué, words and drawing to create a series of samples or one more resolved textile piece.
No prior experience is necessary, although some basic familiarity with hand stitch will be useful.
Price includes all materials.
Participants will need to bring an item of textile/garment that has personal meaning or significance to study. I will also bring some of my own historical textiles for us to investigate.
