Join textile artist Hannah Lamb for this fascinating workshop, Blueprints from the Mill on Saturday 2nd May, 10-4pm.

This workshop is a one day introduction to the fascinating world of cyanotype 'blueprinting', taking inspiration from the historic Sunny Bank Mills. This magical photographic process, dating back to the 1840’s, creates beautifully detailed prints on a variety of surfaces. 

During the workshop you will learn how to prepare and mix chemicals to print on a range of materials, including textiles and paper. You will take home a collection of print samples and the knowledge to develop your own projects with cyanotype. 

Adults and 16+ only. No previous experience required.

Materials & Equipment: All materials will be provided in the course cost. However participants are encouraged to bring items to print with (to personalise their work) and a list of suitable items will be provided after booking. An apron or old clothes are recommended.
