Cyanotype Essentials Workshop - 29 May 2021 (10am - 4pm)

£75.00 GBP

This is a ticket for a live, in-person workshop at Hannah's studio in West Yorkshire.

The cyanotype essentials workshop is a one day introduction to the fascinating world of blueprinting. This ‘magical’ photographic process, dating back to the 1840’s, creates beautifully detailed prints in Prussian blue on a variety of surfaces. During the workshop you will learn how to prepare and mix chemicals to print on a range of materials, including a range of fabrics and papers. You will take home a collection of samples and the knowledge to develop your own projects with cyanotype.

(No previous experience necessary)

Materials & Equipment:

All materials including chemicals, fabrics, papers, etc. will be provided in the course cost. However participants are encouraged to bring items to print with (to personalise their work) and a list of suitable items will be provided after booking. An apron or old clothes are recommended.
